The new single from Rachael Sage’s current album Character is a timely release in these days of Covid-19. Originally written as a meditation on gratitude relating to her recent cancer therapy and recovery, the lyrics have taken on additional meaning as our world has been turned upside down during the recent and ongoing pandemic.

”Blue Sky Days” is an inspiring and uplifting song that you’ll find to be great company during these trying times. You can view the video and give the song a listen here.

Rachael has been performing "Blue Sky Days" online via her 2x weekly Facebook Livestream sessions Stay In With Sage (benefiting New York-based charities). Many of her listeners have chimed in to confirm how powerful the song is and how it has given them the ability to stay positive.

Rachael explains "The song is essentially about hope, as well as a particular kind of gratitude that is much stronger because it is grounded in mindfulness. Now more than ever, we can all agree that health, loved-ones and the beauty of nature are precious beyond measure...and that eventually, the clouds do clear."

The song was produced by Sage and Grammy® winner Andy Zulla (Rod Stewart, Kelly Clarkson).

In other Rachael Sage news she recently released her self-designed Deluxe Character 2-CD Book and Deluxe Vinyl releases,

Sage has also been asked to participate in the 24-hour online Global Pride 2020 event set for Saturday, June 27th. The event will be livestreamed on the Global Pride website, YouTube, and other platforms soon to be announced. This unprecedented historic celebration, with an estimated audience of 300 million, will allow many viewers to take part for the first time who are not out publicly or who live in socially conservative countries.

The event will feature speeches from world leaders, activists, human rights defenders and music artists (including Olivia Newton John, the Dixie Chicks, and Thelma Houston) who want to make sure that the spirit of Pride and social equality lives on in light of Pride events cancelled due to Covid-19.
